This page allows registered users to upload their HD video files to our web site,
or publish link to users's files that already hosted on some other web sites.
HD television most commonly use picture formats 1920x1080 interlaced or progressive,
1440x1080 interlaced or
progressive, 1280x720 progressive. For complete list of formats and frame rates
supported by ATSC standard for example see links

On our site we recommend video format 1280x720, progressive picture, 24p or 30p,
WindowsMedia, bit rate from 3 to 6 Mbits/s. This HD format has moderate system requirements and is suitable for
viewing by many users on PC screen as well as on HD-ready television monitors connected
to PC. We recommend WindowsMedia video coding since it provides excellent picture
quality, and system and CPU requirements for decoding HD is lesser than other codecs,
and also beacuse WindowsMedia player is already installed or easily avaialble for
most viewers..
But we do not limit users from experimenting with other formats and coding types.
We also allow QuickTime and AVC (H.264) codec, and following video formats 1920x1080,
1440x1080, 1280x720. We understand that only a handful of users have HD cameras
and can make quality HD video. As exception we allow standard definition format
720x480 or 720x576 if video has excellent quality and intersting content for
viewers.
